Full-hard cold rolling is frequently favoured above the other choices because it provides the closest tolerances. When done properly, full-hard cold rolling can reduce steel thickness by up to 50%. Other cold rolling procedures can reduce steel thickness, but not as well as full-hard cold rolling.
